The hotel had a great, clean room with comfy beds. Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help. The breakfast had a nice selection, though I found it a bit underwhelming compared to what I've experienced elsewhere. The pool was enjoyable, but the chlorine smell was pretty strong, which made it less pleasant. Also, the location was alright, but I wished it was closer to downtown. A gas station next door was convenient. While the room offered a good night’s sleep, I faced an issue with my room key not working for one of the outside doors, although it was being fixed. Overall, definitely a solid stay for exploring Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
